We carry a thoughtfully selected range of yarns chosen for first projects. Forgiving to work with, easy to see your stitches, and priced so a learning mistake doesn't sting. If you are taking a class or picking up needles for the first time, start here.

Our featured yarn selection comes from Queen City Yarn, a small-batch hand-dye studio based here in Charlotte. Every skein is dyed in one-pound lots, and their catalog runs over 200 colorways built around handpainted and coordinating tonal pairings. These are apparel-grade yarns for sweaters, shawls, socks, and colorwork projects.

We will run beginner-friendly knitting and crochet classes on a regular calendar. Each class comes with a materials list, and everything on it is stocked in the shop. No hunting for supplies after.
