Accessibility.

Loops Coffee & Yarn LLC wants this website to work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or reduced motion. This page covers the standard we aim for, what that means in practice, and how to reach us if something is not working. Last updated July 30, 2026.

The standard we work toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Level AA is the benchmark used in Americans with Disabilities Act guidance and by most public bodies. Version 2.2 is the current one, and it includes everything in 2.1.

How we build

We build with semantic HTML, keyboard support, visible focus outlines, text alternatives for images, and color contrast checked against the AA minimum in both the light and dark themes. Animation is switched off if your system asks for reduced motion, and nothing autoplays audio or video.

Ongoing work

We check these things again when we change the site, and we build accessibility into the pages themselves. We do not use an accessibility overlay or plug-in widget.

If we learn something is creating a barrier, we fix it.

The shop itself

Our shop at 312 N Graham St in Charlotte opens in Fall 2026. If you have a question about getting around the space, or you need an accommodation for a class, email us before you visit. We will tell you what to expect and help where we can.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site or our shop is hard to use, email us at contact@loopsclt.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and include the browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it.

We read every message. If a fix will take a while, we will tell you what we are doing in the meantime.
