Loops Coffee & Yarn LLC (“Loops,” “we,” or “us”) collects the following through www.loopsclt.com:

• Your email address, only if you sign up for updates. Signup uses double opt-in: you are not added to the list until you confirm from your inbox, and unconfirmed signups are handled per Kit’s practices. When you sign up, Kit also records the signup context for us: the page you signed up on, the referring site or search engine that brought you there, and any campaign tags (UTM) in the link you followed.
• Anything you choose to send us when you email us.
• Aggregate performance and security data through our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare. This tells us things like how fast pages load. It is not used to identify or track you across other sites. Like any website host, Cloudflare also processes visitors’ IP addresses and request data in order to deliver pages and block attacks.
• A light-or-dark theme preference, saved in your own browser if you use the theme toggle. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

This site has no accounts, no checkout, and never asks for payment information. Payments for in-shop purchases are handled by our point-of-sale provider, Square, under Square’s own privacy practices, and never pass through this website.

We use your email address to send the updates you asked for, and messages you send us to reply to you. Emails we send through Kit may include standard open and click tracking, which helps us see what subscribers find useful. We use signup-source details, like the referring site and campaign tags, to understand how people find us and to focus our marketing. We use aggregate analytics to keep the site fast and secure. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

Two service providers process data on our behalf: Kit, the email service that stores the update list and sends our emails, and Cloudflare, which serves and protects the website. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Beyond those providers, we would disclose personal information only to fulfill the purpose for which you provided it, with your consent, if the law requires it, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Loops, our customers, or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly functional cookies for security purposes, such as telling humans from bots. The theme preference described above lives in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. If you want your email address deleted from the list entirely, write to us at the address below and we will remove it.

This site links to third-party sites such as Instagram and the sites of partners we work with. This policy does not cover them, and their practices may differ from ours.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information described here, and the site is served only over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, though, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Security researchers can find our disclosure contact at loopsclt.com/security.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, or as the law permits or requires. Unsubscribed addresses are handled per Kit’s retention practices.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date at the top. Changes take effect when posted, and using the site after that means you accept them.
